Here for U
Here for U was launched in May 2017 between the University of Leicester and it's Student's Union to create a partnership between its catering, retail and bars across their campus. Their aim is to put the community at the forefront and to enhance the experience for their customers by providing the best service they possibly can. We were thrilled when approached to create a branded goody bag for the launch of this body and are proud to have played a part which is morally astute.
The key to this project was absolutely essential - who the end user was. In this case it was the students, so keeping the products practical and reusable whilst having a high quality finish was essential. We have thousands of products that are white so tying in their brand colours was all about securing products that tied-in their deep red. The Senator Pens closely encorporated the Here for U red, whilst their long life ink refill ensures long lasting brand exposure helping us tick another box off on the brief. Our rock sweets were another no-brainer as they are UK made and are bespoke making them a superb conversation piece.
We must say that we think the playing cards and mugs came out a treat! Our contact wanted to include a cost effective deck of cards that offered the branding potential to create Pantone Matched packaging. Whilst our retail quality Cards offer this, to reduce cost, we used a stocked deck of cards and created a bespoke card sleeve with the decks supplied inserts into the wraps. With the mugs, in order to achieve an eye-catching design we used our Brite-Americano, allowing us to create a full colour full wrap design on the cup, with the silicone wrap highlight the Here for U brand/service. These were also essential from the brief as part of the scheme was for the students to receive discounted prices in cafes and coffee shops on campus for reusing the cup and reducing single use coffee cups.
