Motability Operations
Motability Operations Ltd are operators of the Motability Scheme, providing a wide range of cars, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles, scooters and powered wheelchairs that meet customer’s disability needs. Operating for nearly 40 years, the organisation is very well regarded and we have been privileged to help them with their branded merchandise since 2009.
On this occasion we were commissioned to produce a cohesive set of merchandise for their Business Briefings exhibitions. Our initial discussions were with a design agency who had drawn up preliminary visuals, the theme being to take a fun slant on the use of each product. Moving forward with the “Good for...” design in mind we tailored the designs to suit the branding capabilities of the each product being produced. Simultaneously we recommended the most appropriate item to suit each category required: notebooks, pens, USBs, lanyards, bags, shirts and coffee cups. Samples were assessed and we narrowed the on the final items.
With multiple products in question it was very important that they all tied together at the same time as falling within budget. We therefore paid particular attention to the product colour and the required Pantone Reference for the branding. After full pre-production samples were produced and approved for all of the items, the bulk goods were produced and used on mass in spectacular fashion.
Two particular highlights from the set include the bespoke notebook & the USB Credit Card Flashdrive. The notebook was produced with a hard backed soft touch cover, including bespoke information pages to the front of the book and 75 inner pages printed to both sides. The USB card was flood printed to both sides and supplied with data pre-loaded to each card, a very useful resource for the recipient.
