We swung ourselves over to Treetop Golf Leicester on Friday to let our hair down - and ourselves, looking at the scores...
With the scorching summer heat beginning to ease and Autumn soon coming into play, we decided to putt work aside and let off some steam at another Mojo social. A busy Friday had us rushing out the office and trading our desks for the canopy at Treetop Golf, where we most certainly got to see whose golf skills (if any) were above par...

We kicked things off at our usual Friday spot over at The Exchange to fuel up and prepare our A-game. Those who couldn't make it to golf still managed to make some time to grab drinks together - it's always nice to round the week off as a group. After a short but sweet pit stop, we said our goodbyes to some of the team and "you're on" to the rest!

A short walk from the bar and we were soon geared up for golf. Opting for the 'Tropical Trail' route, the team immediately got immersed in the dense jungle-themed setting. Once the clubs were out, it was clear that some Mojo members were taking a calm and calculated approach to the game, taking their time to assess the course ahead of them. Others adopted the 'hit it hard and hope for a miracle' approach, which worked better for some than others...

We were all witness to plenty of skilful plays and entertaining failures (we're talking 8 unfortunate swings on some holes). A few unexpected hole-in-ones deserved their own trophies (looking at you, Dan and Sophie), but ultimately there could only be one winner. After a fierce battle on the green and a 'hole' lot of fun, it was actually Tim who drove it home and came out on top as king of the jungle!

We wrapped things up with some well-earned drinks to toast our golfing champion; and to celebrate another fantastic team social! Whether our swings were hit or miss, it was a tee-rrific way to kick off the weekend together. Well done to Tim who took the crown home this time, though a few of us are already plotting our comeback for the next event...
