Traditionally, as summer draws to a close, Team MoJo packs up some goodies, and heads off to the shores of Rutland Water for the annual BBQ. However, this year being rather special, we had to take it up a notch - or five.
Nestled in the beautifully rustic village of Church Langton just outside of Leicester proper, the Langton Arms was a perfect escape from what has been a very different summer in the city. It was without a doubt a perfect antidote to the last five months, and John certainly spoiled the team rotten paying for a delicious three course dinner including delectable treats such as the cripsy halloumi & mushroom burger, and the classic dessert, Eton Mess, as well as keeping our glasses brimming with wine.
Ostensibly, John insisted that the change in plans had nothing to do with the eyebrow he lost trying to light the BBQ last year, but it was because he wanted to thank the team for all their hard work, and to celebrate a very important date:
Tom’s TEN YEAR anniversary at MoJo.
We will not lie to you, things became rather emotional, and by the time John presented Tom with an award and a bottle of Champagne there were a few tears in the room. Tom has been a pillar to the success at MoJo Promotions, and not only for his work with a variety of long standing clients, but also for his immense presence at MoJo HQ itself. A tireless worker, he is often first in and last out of the office, and is always ready with a helping hand; A notorious hoarder, if you need a sample, a couple of painkillers, snacks, socks… you name it, he’s definitely got it; And of course, he is MoJo’s very own Santa Claus, going out of his way to buy and put up decorations as soon as it hits December. These are just a few of the things that Tom brings to MoJo, but we think that John said it best during his speech:
He’s always the first to offer help, always the first to think of others. It is a rare trait and something I have always admired, a trait that makes MoJo a better company and raises all our games.

So let us all take a moment to raise our glasses (or mugs, if you're at work) to Tom’s ten year anniversary and John’s huge generosity.
