Ale's Well That Ends Well

We swapped our desks for the brewhouse floor and headed to Everards Meadows for a proper Mojo afternoon out...

With the diaries finally lined up and a decent excuse needed to get out of the office, the Mojo team swapped iMacs for stouts and headed over to Everards Meadows for an afternoon at the brewery. Tucked opposite Fosse Park with the River Soar running past the door, it's fair to say we picked a good spot to down tools for the afternoon.

First stop a leisurely walk around the our lush green surrounds, getting slightly colder with a noticeable September wind. The next was in the Beer Hall, Everards' own restaurant and taproom serving up fresh beer brewed right there on site. The brewery's been going since 1849, so we reckoned they'd had plenty of time to get it right - and lunch didn't disappoint, with plates cleared faster than a Friday afternoon inbox.

With the last pints finished and the afternoon sun dipping, we headed back into Leicester already debating where the next social should be. Everards Meadows ticked every box - good food, better beer, and just enough competitive spirit to keep things interesting. Cheers to that.
