In an era marked by increasing environmental awareness and a growing demand for sustainable products, consumers are more conscious than ever about the impact of their purchases. Eco Assessments offer a comprehensive evaluation of the environmental impact of products, empowering consumers to make informed decisions aligned with their eco-conscious values. Central to our Eco Assessments is the introduction of the green leaf tag. Products with this tag boast an Eco Assessment score of 6 and above meaning that it is “Good” or “Excellent”. This goes a step further with the Eco Category, reserved for items with an impressive Eco Assessment score of 8 and above. This category offers consumers a curated selection of the cream of the crop in terms of sustainability.

However, it's important to note that we recognise the complexities of certain product categories, specifically technology, which inherently poses challenges in terms of environmental impact. While products in the Eco Tech Category may not attain the high Eco Assessment scores characteristic of the Eco Category as a whole, we endeavour to ensure that even within this category, consumers can access options that minimise environmental harm. By providing transparent information and alternative choices, we aim to empower consumers to mitigate the environmental footprint of their tech-related purchases.
