Introducing Root-and-Branch Out, our next 1% for the Planet Partner!
It is no secret that the unofficial motto of MoJo is teamwork makes the dream work, so when John discovered Root-And-Branch Out which exemplifies this spirit, it was an easy decision as to who our next 1% for the Planet was going to be.
With community at the core I knew this was a good partnership for us when we met.

With community at the centre of their ethos, Root-And-Branch Out works hard to educate and support people, young and old, and from all walks of life.
Some of their projects include:
- The Rutland Community Fridges - This endevour collects surplus food that would have otherwise gone to waste and pops it all in a fridge for anyone to take!
- Forest Schools - Accredited by the Forest School Association, Forest Schools are a brilliant opportunity for children to venture into the woodland, encouraging practical skills, confidence and independence whilst also allowing them to interact with nature.
- Growers Row - On the edge of Oakham, Root-And-Branch Out have established an accessible 1/4 acre open to the community to grow delicious fruit and veggies.
