By investing in projects in Mexico and Pakistan hand selected by our green partner, Ecologi, you are helping to remove carbon from the atmosphere by utilising the world's largest carbon sink: The ocean. By promoting and preserving coastal eco systems like saltmarshes, mangroves and seagrasses, you are removing up to 5x more carbon from the atmosphere than tropical forests!
Check out the Delta Blue Carbon initiative in Pakistan which aims to remove 127 million tonnes of carbon across 60 years by restoring and protecting mangrove trees. If this was not enough to convince you, the project also protects local communities from climate change related events and preserves the home of endangered species including Indus River and Indian Ocean dolphins, Indian pangolins, and the fishing cat.
