Product Assessment
Emissions: This product is made in the Netherlands, so it travels a far shorter distance to reach the UK than goods produced further afield, keeping its transport footprint low. Raw Materials: The backpack is made from imitation leather combined with upcycled sailcloth, sourced from leftover material from the sail-making industry that would otherwise go to waste. Longevity: The sturdy, water-repellent fabric, robust zip closure and timeless design mean this backpack is built for daily use and likely to be kept well beyond three years. End of Life: At the end of its life the textile elements can be taken to textile recycling banks, although the mixed materials and hardware should be separated first where possible.
