By purchasing a minimum of one tonne of carbon, you are supporting community based initiatives in Uganda, India and Thailand that work to promote and produce clean energy and clean water. This, in turn, helps to avoid carbon emissions.
One such project that you could support is the use of efficient cookstoves in Uganda - sounds small but helping families swap out hazardous fuels and inefficient stoves for better alternatives, means that fewer emissions are being released into the atmosphere and significantly lowers household air pollution which contributes to millions of deaths every year.
